Not kid friendly and not timely. Waited over 90 min for a cheap poor quality steak, overcooked veal like rubber and the greasiest pomme frites you ever had. Asked to see the manager, and he never showed up until after we left. The waiter claimed “there was a problem in the kitchen”. The manager said that the waiter never put in our order. There was no language barrier. This is a perfect example of incompetence. There were four of us, including a five-year-old. Place was not that busy and 17 people got served before us. Everything that could go wrong with food and service and time happens here. Crepes were soggy and cold; they do not keep food warm after it is made. I hope we don’t get sick. There is a McDonald’s nearby and we don’t even eat that in the USA. It’s a better bet. This was not a miscommunication; how do I get 90min of...
Read moreGot the steak here, (butchers choice) it's a pity they chose to serve shoe leather instead of steak, easily the toughest steak Ive ever had and I asked for it medium knowing how that's rare back home which I like. For a starter I had the bone dry store bought pancake with a dolop of creme fresh on a small bit of smoked salmon, half of which was the grey side fillet bit, garnished with one sad salad leaf and two, count them two squares of tomato, no dressing, really poor, chips with the steak were all different colours and stages of cooking but at least the salad had a dressing. Too tired to complain after a day on the...

Good place to fill up, after wandering round Avranches. Right opposite the brocante which looks to be on 1st Sunday...
