Arrived around 20h. I understand that that time it’s busy for dinner but still, terrible service. We walked inside and no one cared abt us. The short asian woman is the owner and the french woman is the staff. Both of them were busy taking care other tables but they passed us without greeting. Only the boy asked if we reserved in advance or no, then he went to ask his mom (the owner) and the french woman for every of our questions (if we have to wait, how long until we can get the table, etc). We noticed an empty table with 1 chair, they said it was reserved. 30 mind later we came back, that table was still empty. Then we asked the boy to take 1 more chair to put to that table. He was nice and listened to us without asking his mom and the french staff again (thanks god, finally we could sit down). So the 1 star we give here is just for the nice attitude and being helpful of the boy (even he’s too much scared of his mom and the french female staff, he can’t decide any thing without asking them) Then 15 mins more passed without any one asking us to order, only the boy brought us the menu then finally the french staff came for taking order of drink. Eventually the owner came for taking order for food. The food is average, not good not bad, but dor sure it’s not real vnm taste. Even a chinese restaurant can do better. The only good thing here is the banana fired cake. But obviously we didn’t come here for that, we came for vnm food but received a don’t know where it comes from food and a terrible bad attitude service. So if u’re white and just wanna experience kind of asian style...
Read moreAhhhhmazing! My husband and I have been in France for a week now, and while the food is fantastic, it can be a bit heavy over time (assuming you’re been living on cheese, perfectly prepared meat, croissants and macarons like myself!). Le Hanoi was a fantastic change of pace. Their flavors were bright, delicious and VERY reasonably priced. We got a soup, the app sampler, two duck entrees, dessert and a bottle of fantastic wine all for 60Euro. If this restaurant was in the Bay Area (Cali) we’d easily drop $150 on a meal this delicious. The duck was prepared like a filet mignon- tender, juicy… definitely locally sourced. You could taste the precision of French cooking melded perfectly with the Asian flavors. Don’t think twice about going to...
Read moreAbsolutely delicious food. Tasty spicy soup and perfectly cooked main courses with fresh and still crispy vegetables and beef of its best quality, juicy and tender. The seasoning of both beef courses was pleasant and differentiated, no panasian uniform alteration in colours and nothing else. You could smell and taste some of the ingredients, but none of them were overpowering the others. A lovely ensemble of impressions for tongue and palate and soul. Also the dessert, brioches filled with lotus cream, both lovely and exotic. Attentive and caring service. We loved everything, a perfect and...
