Thursday evening meal, reserved table in advance, as we could not get a table in August when the restaurant was fully booked. We took this as a good sign and decided to come back. Choice of 3 starters, about 8 mains, 4 desserts plus ice creams. So compact menu but still plenty of choice.
You can see into the kitchen and it is perfectly clean, and from the sounds from the kitchen the food is freshly cooked.
Ravioli and Terrin starters were perfect.
Steak cooked exactly as requested, pork very tender. Good portion sizes.
Desserts and espresso were spot on.
The Rioja was very good and reasonably priced. Only downside was the cider, great that it was in a 33cl bottle but family produced does not mean that it is good.
Service was excellent, fast, friendly but not intrusive. Background music was good....
