Ô Phil d'Elo 974 — Restaurant in Béziers

I am only giving this a 1 star because the wine was nice . On reflection I'm not supprised that that the restaurant was empty , apart from young family / friend members eating and drinking. We were given the wrong order ..ended up with octopus instead of swordfish. The fries were frozen and overcooked, the veg unedible. The bill was almost €80 for 3 people . No concession made for the complainant ..Shame it was our last night in france.

In answer to the restaurants reply to my review... We arrived at 7 pm and asked if they were open to be told that they were open. We ordered our Tapas starter, A change was made because our choice was not available. The tapas were ok . We ordered our main courses , 1 Tuna and 2 swordfish .The waitress seemed to be happy that she understood what we wanted , she repeated the order to us. The food arrived and we pointed out that we had recieved the wrong order but the waitress seemed uninterested and said it was ok , and left to return to the kitchen and didnt return. My husband had to get up and go to find a staff member so we could discuss our issues and pay the bill. At no time did he do anything with a bottle. The two gentlemen you refer to were interested in our issue and asked about it on our exit from the restaurant. FYI we are...

We really enjoyed our evening. We were a little nervous given some of the reviews. And sure, the service wasn't "slick", they disappeared at key moments, struggled with English. But we wanted to try a new cuisine and this was home cooked and quite unusual flavours. I enjoyed the rougail saucisse tapas especially. The owner was very friendly and shared some home made rum to finish which was a nice touch. The location as well was nice, with a large opening side...

Ne tiens pas compte de la réservation sur Internet. A notre arrivée même pas au courant. Restaurant accueillant pour les habitués mais pas pour les touristes. Déjà accueil froid.... Attente longue .... on se fait doubler par les habitués. 35 mn pour avoir les sets de table posés sur la table en les réclamant à la serveuse et lui signalant qu'elle nous avait oubliés et qu'elle les posaient à ceux arrivés apres nous. On se demandait même s'il valait mieux partir. Chose qu' un couple arrivé après nous, a fait. Ce qui nous a fait tenir c'est de manger réunionnais. Très bon d'ailleurs. Le clou c'est pour payer la note. On la réclame à la serveuse qui nous dit j'arrive... 30 mn après... rien. Obligés d'aller au comptoir... Je demande si je peux donner des tickets restaurant puisqu'à l'entrée il y a l'autocollant T.restau. On me les refuse en me disant qu'il y a trop de fraudes avec les T. RESTAU mais qu'on prendrait la Carte T.R. Heureusement que j'avais vraiment envie de manger Reunionnais !! Les commentaires sur Internet ont bien été confirmés.... Dommage pour la Cuisine Et...
