If you ever wanted to explore what French cuisine means, this is the place to be. The food is simple and yet exquisite. The atmosphere as well as the service is top notch. You can enjoy amazing seafood straight from the tank and directly cooked on the wood fire. And yet, this is extremely affordable (18 euros for a week lunch for one). Forget about the expensive French cuisine you see in movies, THIS is the quintessence of French cuisine, simple, tasty, with a bit of "je ne sais quoi". I rarely review restaurants but this place took me by surprise and I simply cannot say a word....

We had the chicken and the offal sausage. Service and atmosphere were great, but the food was very disappointing. The sweet potato mash served with the chicken was almost completely bland. Thankfully, there was a small spoonful of spiced butter to accompany the very disappointing chicken skewer. No garnish, apart from a single cherry tomato. For a place rated 4.7 on Google in a region full of amazing produce, this was, to put it nicely, very underwhelming. The kitchen has some serious work to do before we return. Remarkably good! Small unassuming little restaurant with tables on a quiet shady street. The on line booking process was easy and showed all the menu options. The actual food was absolutely delicious, good portions well presented by friendly staff. From my perspective it was real gastronomy but at very reasonable prices.
