Attitude of the owner (or waiter, whoever was on duty that day). We politely asked if it's ok to seat just for coffee initially. We faced aggressive behaviour given by staff " not possible coffee this is restaurant!". Fair enough but the way we were threated is just disgusting. Maybe we would get more after coffee but we didn't have chance to try. So aggressive approach is hard to accept that's why we are not recommending this place even if food is great. P.S. it was completely empty when we asked, in the middle of the day.

Amazing atmosphere right in the heart of Béziers! The food and wine were absolutely delicious, but what really made the experience special were the wonderful stories shared by both the waiter and the owner. Their warmth and charm added so much to the evening, making the whole place feel alive and full of character. A truly refreshing and memorable spot.

Nous sommes venus manger le 20 août, le service a été long du à un surplus de client ou alors d’un manque de personnels. Nous avons pris une chiffonnade de poisson en entrée. Le poisson n’était pas assaisonné et la sauce trop liquide ce qui fait que le poisson était cru (en therme d’assaisonnement). Pour le plat nous avons choisi le poisson du jour qui coûte 14€ sans accompagnement (L’accompagnement est un supplément de 5€). Il nous a été dit que le poisson est sans arrêtes lors de la prise de la commande, mais malheureusement cela n’était pas le cas quand on la reçu à table. Je vous laisse également faire votre avis sur la portion du poisson qui nous a été servis comparé à la tranche de citron. Donc au prix du plat sans les frites ( l’accompagnement)avec la quantité qu’il y a à manger. Déçu de ce repas, mais le cadre reste très sympathique, avec un accompagnement excellent ( les frites) et le vin également.

3 of us were looking for a late dinner (around 9:30) on a Saturday night but we were caught a bit off guard at how early local establishments seem to close (which of course is our own fault). Having been turned away from several other restaurants we found ourselves at Les Bon Amis. Although the restaurant advertises a closing time of 10 they were kind enough to accommodate us and served us some excellent cheeseburgers et frites. (Having done some time in the service industry I appreciate how annoying this can be but they were friendly and made us feel welcome).

The food really was delicious, as was the recommended local beer. Medium rare burger seasoned and cooked to perfection. Simple and satisfying. Paired with a wonderful atmosphere and service - 5 stars....

The best & largest outside table in this pleasant setting was reserved for staff who had forgotten us 20 minutes after reserving a table in person. The four of us were on our return directed to a table normally for 2 in front of a stack of other unused tables. ( Their confidence in tourist trade such that they were turning away customers who just wanted drinks / snacks). Indifferent service, skin on soggy frites ( barely a potato’s worth) and a decent sized but almost raw giant squid portion which 3 of us had to send back. such a lovely place, very touristic, be sure to reserve before you go it gets packed quick!! The food is lovely, I can tell you the fries were probably the best I’ve ever had and the burgers are just the right portion. The people are so sweet and they speak both English and French (although they prefer if you put in the effort to speak French). lovely atmosphere and the vibe is so cozy. If I ever pass by this town again I think ill pop by. Although I do believe the price of supplements (I added bacon to my burger) are a bit expensive, but whatever you can do to make more...
