U Sant Antone — Restaurant in Bastia

We had been here in 2015 and the restaurant was just lovely! Wonderful location on the beach, very good food and generous portions. We decided to have dinner here for our last evening in Corse and we got totally disappointed. The location is still beautiful, but we ordered two grillades de poisson and we received an octopus tentacle and two prawns with few potatoes. That was all for 28€. Honestly we expected something totally different for a main course, that was more similar to a starter... Sadly it was really not...

Da im September leider schon fast alle Restaurants geschlossen waren, blieb nur dieses übrig. Der Kellner war zwar freundlich aber nicht über das angebotene Essen informiert und roch unangenehm nach Alkohol. Außerdem war die Verständigung egal ob in französisch oder englisch sehr zäh, da er erst nach einigem hin und her verstand, was man von ihm wollte. Man sitz nett direkt oberhalb des Strandes. Die Karte ist erfreulich klein, es finden sich aber so Gerichte wie Linguini mit Languste für 60 €???!!! Das Menü gibt es für 35€. Das Essen ist geschmacklich recht mäßig. Man konnte zum Hauptgang zwischen halb rohem Rindfleisch, das etwas asiatisch mariniert war mit Pommes oder harte Linguini mit Garnelen und geschmacksfreier Sauce wählen. Lustig waren auch die Kinderessen hier gab es entweder Pommes mit 2 Spiegeleiern oder Pommes mit einer Scheibe gekochtem Schinken…. Fazit: man verhungert nicht, aber Genuss ist...

Per gli ITALIANI: Evito di dire: "scarsamente sconsigliato". È proprio da evitare e starne alla larga. Non è assolutamente possibile che una bottiglietta d'acqua di 33cl costi 3 EURO. Ti lascio passare il caffè a 1,5 euro, ma una bottiglietta alta come una mano 3 euro anche no. Mica sei sul Ponte Vecchio a Firenze eh, siamo italiani, mica ci facciamo fregare i soldi così senza problemi; quanto costa al litro? 10 euro? Ma manco l'olio dell'uliveto del mi nonno costa così tanto. In più per pagare mi fai stare con 10 euro in mano sul bancone 10 minuti?
