Les flots bleus — Restaurant in Bayeux

We visited this restaurant after searching for a quaint little place to eat for lunch by the seaside and were not disappointed. We had a three course meal consisting off the prawns and octopus, grilled pork and steak, and the taste tatin and chocolate cake which were all to a really high standard. The staff were very attentive and we did not feel put off given that we clearly weren’t French despite ordering in French. The setting is also lovely with a little terrace giving uninterrupted views of the sea. The restaurant became really busy during the service which could suggest how popular it is so could be worth booking even though we were lucky and happened to grab a table outside without reserving. Posto molto carino anche se raccolto e con pochi tavoli, qualche tavolo fuori se non fa freddo e7 8 tavoli all'interno. Siamo arrivati verso le 7:30 ed era già quasi tutto prenotato ma è riuscito a tirarci fuori un tavolo lo stesso! Il cameriere gentilissimo ci ha detto che avremmo dovuto aspettare un pochino anche se in realtà poi ci hanno servito abbastanza velocemente. Eravamo in tre e abbiamo preso un croque madame ottimo un tagliere di formaggi e un piatto di pesciolini fritti e ovviamente le cozze col formaggio Normanno! 60 euro. Tutto molto buono e un prezzo ottimo! Personale cortese e ambienti piacevoli! Dalla sala sebbene il locale non sia direttamente sul male si riesce a vedere al di là della strada bene il mare! Merci aux autres contributeurs pour cette pépite de restaurant qui nous a régalés en famille après notre visite de la pointe du Hoc. Faites le détour pour aller goûter la cuisine des Flots bleus. Moules sauvages, fish and chips ou poulet aux gambas façon madras en plat du jour tout était frais et servi rapidement et de façon très agréable. Arrivez tôt car il n’y a qu’une trentaine de couverts. Desserts maison très bons également. Carte courte qui nous a justement donné toute confiance dans la fraîcheur des produits.
