We met another couple for lunch here yesterday with our little dog. They drove from San Sebastien, Spain and we drove from Pau, France. The staff was all so lovely - and sat us out on the lovely deck and brought a bowl of water for our little dog. But the food… Oh my gosh, it was SO SO good! Two of us had Moules À La Crême. The friend staying in San Sebastien said it was the best she had ever eaten. I had never eaten moules before so had nothing to compare but Oh.So.Good!!! My husband had a burger and loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant and understand why everyone raves about it. We will be returning soon and bringing everyone here who comes...

We started with padron peppers done fantastically - not greasy and just the right amount of finishing salt. Green olives… you’ve never had any like this! Tuna tartare in a delicious and unusual sauce with pomme frites (back of the photo), and filet de bar (sea bass) in a light beurre blanc sauce. The owner happily gave me more salad versus potatoes.

Read morewe found this place by accident having run in to escape the oncoming storm after walking over from st jean. what started off as a beer each for my wife and me ended up becoming oysters, home-made beefburgers and two bottles of wine. the food was very good and full of flavour and the staff were the best we experienced in our stay in the st jean area.
