As we drove around St Jean de Luz we came across the small town of Ciboure and decided to stop at the port for our dinner. We picked Arraina’s restaurant based on good reviews it received and our desire for fresh grilled fish. we were not disappointed. We came without reservation and they didn’t have any immediate availability for outside seating at 8pm but we were able to reserve for 9 pm, so we walked around and got a drink at another location while waiting. At 9pm we were promptly seated and were recommended the sardine pate as appetizer. It was not the best choice so i would not recommend it. We also ordered the grilled ‘Merlu’ (Hake) fish which was exceptional and made our choice very much worthwhile. The fish was very well prepared, deboned, very very juicy. Services was great as well. We will definitely go back there. Highly recommend this...

This place is by far one of the best if not the best restaurant in the region. Every time I come here, the product is fresh and local. I’ve never had more delicious oysters, prawns or fish. I believe almost everything is cooked over an open flame which gives it an amazing fresh flavor. Like cooking over a bonfire. Each dish is paired with different local products including local ham and vegetables which creates the perfect balance of flavors. This will always be my first and last dining experience when I travel to the Basque Country. Not to add the amazing views, excellent service and amazing people of this region. You will truly miss an experience if you don’t...

Arraina La Table Marine is a true celebration of the sea. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with a sense of calm that lets the dishes shine. Seafood is clearly the star here — impeccably fresh, prepared with precision, and beautifully presented. Each plate feels like a tribute to the ocean, from delicate starters to perfectly cooked fish. The chef highlights local catches with respect and creativity, allowing pure flavors to come through. Excellent service and thoughtful wine pairings complete the experience. A must for seafood lovers in the region.
