Hallo ,
It is pleasure to give you some feedback about our experience. I just want to point out that food and quality of food was ok . So what goes out of kitchen was ok but nothing more . It is sad that you are recommended by Michelin guide and that should be definitely checked because I’m sure it is terrible mistake by Michelins inspectors . Why we are disappointed ???
First of all service was terrible . We wait 43 min for someone to come to choice the wine . We got wine list and we need to wait 43 min that someone come to order . Because I said to waiter that I’m disappointed he said that he don’t speak English. I have never encountered such a repulsive and unpleasant waiter before. Woman who replaced him was smiling, but we tried to choose the wine together using Google Translate. I don't consider myself an expert, but after the terrible waiter opened the wine and after the first try, I called the smiling waitress again to try the wine with me, which in my opinion was spoiled due to the double fermentation that most likely occurred . To my surprise, she simply didn't know what to do and couldn't judge it, so she went to the kitchen. Well, the chef said that the wine didn't match the appetizer, which I absolutely agree with, but I couldn't do anything about it because no one informed me about it, as the menu was a surprise.
Thanks to this wonderful cuisine, I didn't sleep at night and threw up the entire meal during the night.
Fortunately, I had a bottle of wine with me, which I could offer to our hotel chef and staff the next day. They unanimously declared the wine spoiled. How was it possible for the kitchen to return the wine? Why did they say it was good? Should a place like this receive a Michelin recommendation? This is the first time a Michelin recommendation has disappointed me so much. I think this should be quickly investigated again, as the table next to us returned smelly glasses and, unfortunately, wasn't treated well. Well, the wine cost over 100 euros, the dinner 200, so in total it was the worst 300 euros I spent...
Read moreI found this restaurant difficult to rate. I gave it 4 stars but could easily have given it 3. The food was beautifully presented but was not heavy on flavour. The highlights were the mushroom, broad bean and sun dried tomato accompaniment to the pork main course and the cherry dessert. The rest of the meal was pleasant but no better. One thing to note. There is no menu. You order a number of courses (we had five) and then they bring you food. As a result we found it difficult to know what wines to order from the extensive (and expensive) wine list. The meal took a long time (over 2 1/2 hours) and they appeared seriously...
