Nice scenery on the banks of the Saône with a cosy terrace. The staff was helpful in providing us a table for 3, despite not having reserved. The Crémant was nice and fresh, but the food itself totally trashed the whole experience. The so-called fish skewer was nothing more than 3 oversized shrimps (definitely not gamba's) and 2 undersized coquilles. The meat skewer was a little better, but overcooked as well. And both skewers were served nearly cold. They do a trick at the table with some oil that flambées your skewer, but that's more show than anything else. It basically destroys the salad on your plate and doesn't add any flavours on the cold skewers. Disappointing. Great scenery, helpful staff,...

We came to this restaurant on the strength of it's reviews and the pictures of the food on the website. The frosty maître de informed us that the pictures were 3 years old as if to excuse the poor food. Hubby ordered a fillet steak which was bloody and too tough to eat. It was accompanied with soggy, luke warm chips and floppy lettuce. My meal of beef cheeks was also luke warm and tasted microwaved from last week. We got the brush off when we questioned the food. Didn't get offered a discount for the inedible 20 euro steak. A sad meal for our last night at St...

Cozy restaurant and very good food. We had the fish from the market and the pork mignonette. Both were great and very good sauces! We also had a tarte tatin and a crème brûlée, both were very nice as well. The restaurant itself was quite charming. The only downside was that we had to wait long to get the menu card. But I can forgive them that since the rest was so good.

Bustling spot on the water. Friendly staff. Photo of delicious (very sweet caramel sauce) pain perdu bread pudding. The Caesar must have come from a bag — sweet dressing and insipid croutons. The potato gratin with the sweetbreads was nice. The sweetbreads were on the oily side. We were a party of eight, and we agree it was fine but wouldn’t recommend.

Had a lovely meal. What a trouper the only waitress was. Taking orders, cutting bread, waiting tables, getting drinks. Husband had the snails followed by frogs legs. I had the tarte tartare. Both had Creme Brulee. Very tasty meal. Just under 90 euros including bottle of wine. Would be nice to have some low background music.
