TATUP, La Boulangerie Atypique & Rebelle — Restaurant in Belley

A cute little cafe in Ambérieu. The ambience is very relaxed, you can work there or read a book or chill. Service is quick and staff is polite. However, the food is not that great. I had their vegetarian pizza and a slice of one their sourdoughs. The pizza was okay and the sourdough was dense and undercooked. I could barely eat the sourdough, it was that bad. Their vegan hot chocolate drink though compensated for their bread! It was one of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had (and I’m quite particular about my hot chocolate). It was light and flavourful and just perfect. Probably because of the oat milk that they use. So my suggestion- go there for their hot chocolate (and nothing else) and enjoy...

Nouveaux habitants de la ville et après avoir cherché les meilleures adresses nous avons vu Tatup. Curieux, nous y sommes allés. On y est passés 3 fois, 2 fois c'était fermé (horaires d'ouverture assez particuliers pour une boulangerie, surtout pour les salariés. Bref) La 3ème c'était sur la pause déjeuner mais il ne restait qu'une seule variété de sandwich possible donc c'était assez restreint. Personnellement je ne l'ai pas apprécié, mon conjoint l'a mangé, j'ai préféré le petit pain fourré tomates séchées qui était très bon mais n'a pas suffi à me caler du coup Les étoiles sont plutôt pour la tarte aux graines, qui est succulente. Mais 19e pour 2 sandwichs, un morceau de pain à la tomate et une part de tarte, c'est tout de même très cher. 😶 Nous n'y reviendrons pas, ce n'est pas dans notre budget et les horaires ne sont pas adaptés à notre quotidien. (le côté bio n'étant pas notre priorité, on voulait surtout un bon rapport qualité prix, il y a d'autres adresses dans le secteur qui font mieux) Dommage

Edit : je suis revenue à 13h début août il ne restait plus un seul pain disponible. J'abandonne, je ne vais pas y passer l'année.

La Boulangerie TATUP.fr is amazing! We just kept buying bread it was so good and bio which we love and support. The owners were so welcoming and informative and truly artisans.
