What a disappointment! We were really looking forward to our visit here. Unfortunately, this was not at all to our liking. And I must also add. We like to look for outstanding and well-rated locations - negative reviews are therefore rather rare for us. In a nutshell: we had to wait an agonizingly long time for the menu, then the food came after about an hour - just before 10 p.m.... and yes: the quality wasn't outstanding. We had the feeling that the service staff were inexperienced and poorly trained students. The owner commented on our arrival, that this was the first day open in the summer season. The terrace is very nice with a nice surrounding an lovely views on the mountain. Unfortunately the food was not more than average. The offered white wine degustation contained 3 white wines, which were to warm to enjoy. For a wine factory I would expect to get chilled white wines. So unfortunately the first disappointment. Valentine made our trip to Chamonix special. We went to her wine bar every day, she recommended new wines from speciality vineyards of the region for us to take home and we absolutely loved them all. We also loved our post ski apero every day on site with a bottle of wine a cheese board, to the point where it became tradition.
