I found this place near Gare de Jean where I was staying. I only had 38 hours in Bordeaux and had seen and eaten in the best of the old town and didn’t want to go back. What a find, the salmon carpaccio left just enough to wipe the bread over the plate. The magret de canard was slightly pink in the middle and the suggested sauce was slightly peppery. A perfect match with the suggested wines and finishing with the Couer Fondant, the maître d’s favourite.
