What a hidden gem of Bordeaux!
Off the beaten track and also away from anything too popular and busy. If you up for a little walk away from all the hustle and bustle, this is a quaint and quiet area of the city that you can visit and ideally end at the tasty restaurant of La Rémoulade.
We were fortunate enough to be served by one of the chefs and managed to get an idea of how they run their kitchen, their menu changes every day, as they take the time to go every morning to the local market to purchase fresh and local produce. Their style of cooking is typically French but since one of them is from the Alsace region and the other is Italian, their childhood tastebuds often naturally influences their recipes. I wish I lived locally to see what they had to offer every week!

Food was clearly cooked with love and passion. It tasted on point. I was worried about the portions at the beginning. But when you have a full menu starter+ main + dessert , you find yourself very satisfied with the portions at the end. So honestly, I think the portions are perfect!
