Two things that were very wrong with this place; I understand that we didn’t reserve and if the place was really full I wouldn’t comment anything about sitting outside (it was raining) but they said everything was actually reserved when many tables were empty the whole night! The second thing really says something about the quality of their food; the dinner was pretty average however they served us chocolate mousse for dessert that had gone VERY BAD, it was extremely hard and had a rotten smell (unfortunately we only smelled it after tasting it and in fact it was sour). The waiter agreed with us and changed it for a new one, the second was clearly better (darker in colour and softer) but we were too disgusted after trying the first one to eat much. On top of that, they didn’t do anything about it, we paid full price even though we weren’t able to eat the exchanged one and no one apologised for it when clearly it was a wrong thing on their side! Never have I gone to a place that serves rotten food to its customers, definitely do not recommend!!! (It was probably not made that day which also brings up a point on the freshness off...
Read moreExtremely disappointing. One of the worst main courses I have had in years.
I should have guessed from the very limited and laminated menu. Minimal information about the main courses and what might arrive on the plate. I opted from the smoked paprika hummus with pollock filet.
A fillet arrived on the plate with no sauce and some very dry, wilted rocket and then a orange material which tasted of pretty much nothing, it was dry and could not be described as hummus!! There was no garlic, no lemon juice, no oil and no tahini either. The well known ingredients of hummus. Instead the dried mound seemed to be mashed chick peas with some paprika mashed in to change the colour. Clearly nobody in the kitchen is tasting the food before it goes out to customers. Judging by plates of food going past it’s very overpriced and basic. I doubt there is even a trained chef in the kitchen
Below standard bar food is how I would describe it. In terms of price/quality...
Read more🧀 This was the most delicious cheese platter I've eaten in Paris, with a variety of cheese variations. I can also recommend the warm mushroom platter with potatoes and egg. Very friendly and efficient staff. The coffee and cappuccino were also very tasty. The prices are on the higher end. The location is very authentic and modern, with a terrace when the weather is warm. So it's not a fast food restaurant.
