This place has a great atmosphere, is in a great spot and the menu is good. The wait team were very polite and filled in the gaps with their English and made up for my terrible French (I apologise for that). When our meals arrived my croquettes were not cooked correctly and were cold in the middle. I sent them back and when I did I asked for a fresh/new plate, not warmed up chips and wilty salad!
I watched my husband eat his dinner while I waited for mine. His was delicious and he quite clearly enjoyed every morsel. Mine came back to me and the croquettes were hot and very nice but the salad was warm and the frites/fries/chips were inedible. When it came time for the bill I calmly explained that I was unhappy with my food and the lovely waiter said he would pass that on to the manager.
We waited We waited We waited
We eventually stood up to make our way inside to pay the bill and only then did we get some attention. I think they thought we were going to leave without paying.
The man we spoke to - who would not give us his name - was instantly aggressive and accused me of complaining even though I'd cleared my plate the second time round (I hadn't because of the chips). I tried to explain that part of the reason I didn't want to pay for all my food was 1. It was cold in the first place 2. The chips were warmed up 3. I came out for a meal to eat WITH my husband not to watch each other eat. The fact that we did not get to share the joy of eating our food at the same time should qualify for a discount should it not? If we wanted to watch each other eat we could have taken each other to completely different restaurants!
Everything is lovely at this place but the manager (thin mustache, round glasses, starts a sentence with the word but...) needs a bit of customer service training. I would have settled for 50% off my meal due to the fact it was incorrect in the first place but his attitude prevented any kind of negotiation.
Put a big dint in our evening out & I'm sad/annoyed enough about that to...

casual, relaxed Atmosphäre. childfriendly. even though we've been a company of more than 10 people all main dishes were served at the same time. all steaks were done exactly like we've ordered. we recommend the veggie Burger not only because it's one of the very few vegetarian dishes that are offered in this region. child dishes seemed not to be the usually served convenient products staff speaks fluent english. I know how to speak french but the opportunity to make a switch to english if necessary is a true advantage.
And last but not least a fair pricing makes it an unconditional...
Merci...
