What a fantastic steak restaurant! Beautiful place, so romantic, very relaxing, calm and well-decorated. I truly loved the restaurant, I liked so much that I decided to return on my second night at the Verdon. The steaks are beautiful, nicely well cooked and the potatoes gratin were so delicious. The poached eggs on the starts menu are also very delicious and very different from a typical starting dish. The prices are a little high, but for the quality and the environment where you will be eating it is definitely worth the price. The service is also great, both of the waiters were friendly, and helpful, bear in mind that they don't speak fluent English, but enough to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I don't speak any French and I had an amazing time, we did understand each other via google transition lol. The whole experience was just perfect really! Many thanks to the chef and the team

Exellent food and atmosphere. We were two persons eating and ate starters and the main course. I had escargots and sallad as starters - sallad was very good with good and strong tasting ail sauce. Escargots were also good. The main course with waguy rumpsteak and vegetable gratin was then just simply exellent. They clearly know how to make a good steak with live fire. You could also smell the fire and smoke and that gave a good addition to the athmosphere. The interior, otherwise, was also very well designed and done with an african flavor, and that with very welcoming and good service was all in all a good surprise - even when I had read good reviews in beforehand.

Just ask them for gluten free and they can tell you even all the ingredients of deserts! Just all in all absolute recommendation and just amazing ambiente also!

Probably the best Steaks I've ever eaten! Amazing taste and aroma! Everything I've tasted and ate was just unbelievably good, a dream of taste and food! Gluten free / sans gluten is also no problem! I also don't think there should be a big risk of cross contamination because the only thing with gluten I've seen in the kitchen was bread as welcome snack. Service is also really sweet and nice. Just ask them for gluten free and they can tell you even all the ingredients of deserts! Just all in all absolute recommendation and just amazing ambiente also!

We had RESERVED a table. We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes before our order was taken. We pointed out to the manager SANDRINE that we could not wait any longer, so Sandrine hastily served us 2 overcooked andouillettes.

I pointed out that we had an overcooked and mediocre dish (20 euros each) and that she treated us without any respect. SANDRINE gave us an extremely THREATENING answer. She arrogantly pointed out that we had not waited an "HOUR longer" and that we should complain!

I said that it was too long and overcooked. Then, SANDRINE TOLD US TO TAKE OUR CHEESE BACK because she was offended and she is unable to control her emotions. By acting thus, the denominated SANDRINE, seriously failed in her professional obligations and subsequently, disregarded the right relating to the respect of the customers and more largely infringed several articles of the civil code whereas it exerts in an establishment receiving of the public.

Then, we were physically threatened by an individual who appeared behind the bar, this individual seemed to be "the cook"... He used physical force to silence me. I specify that I am a 62 years old woman. I had to PHYSICALLY INTERVENE because this individual wanted to PHYSICALLY fight with my husband while he was paying our expenses at the cash register.

I was really scared because the threats were very serious.

I don't feel safe anymore in this town because we were very afraid. We were traumatized when we came to have dinner.

We are going to contact our lawyer so that he will lodge a complaint with the court of justice in the area of this restaurant as soon as possible. This comment is available in English, because of the many vulnerable foreign customers who have had extremely serious problems in this restaurant.

I am forced to put a star but ZERO actually represents the reality of this...

WE MUST BOYCOTT THIS RESTAURANT! BOYCOTTEZ CE RESTAURATEUR ODIEUX ! Nous avions RÉSERVÉ une table. Nous avons attendu 1H40 avant que notre commande soit prise. Nous avons fait remarquer à la manager SANDRINE que nous ne pouvions pas attendre plus longtemps suite à quoi, Sandrine nous a servi à la hâte, 2 andouillettes trop cuites. J'ai fait remarquer que nous avions un plat trop cuit et médiocre (pour 20 euros pièce) et qu'elle nous traitait sans aucun respect. SANDRINE nous a fait une réponse extrêmement MENAÇANTE. Elle nous a fait remarquer avec arrogance que nous n'avions pas attendu une "HEURE de plus" et que nous ne devions pas nous plaindre !

J'ai redit que cela était top long et trop cuit. Suite à quoi, SANDRINE NOUS A RETIRÉ NOS ASSIETTES. En agissant ainsi, la dénommée SANDRINE, a gravement manqué à ses obligations professionnelles alors que cet établissement reçoit du public.

Puis, nous avons été physiquement menacés par un individu qui semblait être "le cuisinier"... Il a usé de la force physique pour me faire taire. J'ai du M'INTERPOSER PHYSIQUEMENT car cet individu voulait en DÉCOUDRE avec mon époux alors que celui-ci réglait nos dépenses à la caisse. J'ai eu vraiment très peur car les menaces étaient très graves. Nous avons subi un traumatisme alors que nous venions diner tranquillement. JE N'AI JAMAIS VU UNE CHOSE PAREILLE DE MA VIE. IL FAUT BOYCOTTER CE RESTAURANT !
