Update after response from the owner: doesn't that just say everything you need to know about this place?
I would recommend that you avoid this place and chose one of the other really excellent restaurants here.
Original review I have visited this place before and wanted to give it one more try before posting my opinion. mostly because it seems to grow in size and push other restaurants away unfortunately I have been extremely disappointed every time on multiple counts.
TL:DR : if you want to eat here, expect to wait to be seated, ignored when seated, and if you let them know that waiting 32 minutes to just order then you get a "okay" and will be ignored.

You would get better service and food at the local MC Donald's.
In general the price was high for average quality food for the area.
we had a difficult time with the menu outside and Google translate wasn't helping. When we asked the server just hanging by the door if they had English menus she rolled her eyes and just said "no" and went back to look at something out in space.
We then had to wait 1 hour to be seated, that is fine, it happens when the place is busy, but its worth mentioning because it might have had an impact on the next experience. After being seated, we were ignored for a good 32 min. I had to sit sidesaddle on my chair after giving up catching someone's attention (multiple waiters walked right past us) before I was asked if I wanted anything, when i said we havnt even ordered the girl said oh and hurried off. I told the wait who arrived a few minuts later, that we had be waiting for 30 minutes and at that point we were moving on (my wife was over at the restaurant on the other side to ask if they had a table for us). The reaction? "Oh, okay" that's it. No apologies, no that wasn't how we wanted to service you, nothing! just a "okay"
Got the bill and left to a small, cheeper and so much better...
Read moreHello,
I tried to message the restaurant but they did not reply. Thave been a regular client with my mother for around twenty years - we live nearby in St Cyprien. It has always good food and service.
However, this Saturday evening was abominable. Service - the waiter needed reminding for our drinks four times. There was not the usual personality and helpfulness we usually enjoy. The canard magret was inedible. It was too tough to eat and as you can see it was greasy and fatty.
The young brunette lady at the front desk was very helpful. However we only had a small discount despite being constantly ignored and unable to eat the main course.
We are disappointed as it's always been a wonderful restaurant which we will be sad to stop visiting. I am hoping that this feedback will be looked into and the food quality and service restored to the usual high standards. The duck was so tough that even a steak knife was not enough! Such a shame. I would welcome a reply. The porc filet mignon on the old menu was exceptional. To replace with overly tough duck is not a good move.
Very sad about the problems, I hope the feedback can be listened to and for the restaurant to improve the quality of both the meat options and the service standards to what you can be. Thank...
Merci...
