Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Caen

Place have potential, nice location and all, but the girl at the register has a very nasty attitude! Just because tourists don’t speak French she shouldn’t get that very uneducated attitude, after we have some hot chocolate and some sweets, my dad went ahead and pay the check, after we finished I went to the counter to buy a bottle of water and the girl give it to me and she thought the check wasn’t paid yet, I had to used google translator to let her know my dad paid it previously, then she took the bottle of water off my hand and put it back in the fridge, and went to the back to ask if I was telling her the truth!! In a very rude and nasty way… I would not spend time and move in a place like this never again!!! My advice? They don’t deserve customers… we were there on vacation and we were 6 persons, 3 adults and 3 kids! Even other local customers were surprised at how rude she was and they shake...

We both had a croque monsieur each, which came with a sizeable well dressed salad, shared a portion of fries and had a coke each for £27.00.

The food was amazing had a real rustic feel to it. We would highly reccomend it.

Only tiny niggle is the ventilation doesnt seem to be the best as we both came out with our clothes...

Nous avons connu cette adresse sur les réseaux sociaux, ma femme étant amatrice de thé 🫖 on a également pu découvrir sur leur page qu’ils proposaient aussi des burgers 🍔 et autres plats sur place ou à emporter. À plusieurs reprises nous voulions essayer mais jamais le bon moment… À l’occasion d’une ballade dominicale improvisée en famille nous nous sommes arrêtés à Coffee & Tea pour y déjeuner aujourd’hui. L’endroit est plutôt bien placé sur le bassin de plaisance de Courseulles en pied d’immeuble. La salle est joliment et simplement décoré nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons pu goûter le « burger italien » qui je dois dire était vraiment top ! Nous avons pu terminer le repas avec une belle coupe de glace et une pâtisserie 🥮 maison accompagné d’une délicieuse tasse de thé ! Les prix affichés y sont corrects et cohérents. En résumé une très bonne adresse à Courseulles à ne pas manquer, nous y retournerons dans faute mais cette fois ci...
