McDonald's — Restaurant in Caen

Very good selection of burgers some we don't have in the UK. They gave pre order machines which you can change the language to English to make it easier. Be warned if you want to eat in take a plastic table number from next to the order machine as even in English the last question is all in french and will ask you your table number which will be the one you pick up next to the machine. Non of the actual tables are numbered. They only do a table service or take away. In England we stand and wait for our order number to show on the screen before we move forward to pick up our order. This does not happen in this McDonald's. There is no screen. Collect the plastic table number and you receipt from the order machine and find a table and the food will be delivered to your table. Don't forget to order your sauces as there isn't a station for ketchup serviettes etc like we have. Food good and hot, coffee...

Ce soir après le match, passage chez mc do extrêmement décevant. Commande passée à la borne à 22:45........et enfin (ou déjà! ) servi 30 minutes plus tard !! Et encore, une famille de 4 assise proche de nous 2 à attendu encore plus longtemps ! Et à ce moment, 2ème surprise....... « nous n’avons plus de coca ni aucune autre boisson gazeuse » Panne de coca dans un mc do, c’est une grosse blague non?!! Bon à présent le choix est dur....Evian ou Badoit 🤔 Après ce repas tiède, pour sortir, porte fermée (ce qui est classique dans ces heures, je connais), je demande donc pour sortir et on me répond sur un air très agaçé « ben c’est ouvert là »....alors que tout était fermé!....du calme mec!!

Bref....

Ce n’était pas une soirée quelconque ce soir il me semble.... Je ne sais pas si c’est une question de personnel ou d’organisation qui a été à l’origine de ce gros cafouillage ce soir. ....ou d’envie peut-être ! Et oui avec une fermeture à 23h, quand les employés voient 40/50 personnes au resto alors qu’ils devraient avoir terminés...... Mais c’est ça le commerce......

Je termine par un point positif, pour la personne qui servait en salle, il était forcément gêné par cette situation mais on su gardé son calme et sa gentillesse.....même avec quelques...

The place was packed so I can understand the stress of the rush hour. However, I asked if my order was complete, they had put the nuggets sauce but they forgot the 2x 9 nuggets.... (already there's no x20 box). Of course we realized it once back on the highway. We lost 10 euros and the kids were still hungry. Thanks Mcdo. I know it is a human mistake.
