McDonald's — Restaurant in Calais

Not the best McDonald's I've ever visited but far from the worst.

Loved the sustainable/reusable cups, chip cartons etc. Still using a lot of cardboard in the UK so this was nice to see. Was very expensive (compared to UK at least) and I mainly got food for my daughter.

Would have been better if we weren't forced into table service as trying to keep a toddler still is very difficult without highchairs.

Menu poorly translated into English in parts. Only put the machine into English for my mum incase she wanted something more than fries.

Sundae didn't warn of peanuts instead keeping the French word. Unfortunately I'm highly allergic to peanuts but luckily speak French so was able to catch it before I ordered. PLEASE FIX THIS especially being so close to Eurotunnel where there are likely to be many British visitors. This could be very dangerous for those without my language skills and...

Really disappointed with visit to this McDonalds today as we travelled back from Belgium to our Calais ferry and stopped at this McDonalds,close to ferry port. The supervisor was extremely rude. Entered wearing a face covering and supervisor shouted at is that we needed a mask. I asked whether my face covering was fine and she just shouted again need a mask. No one should be spoken to like that, extremely bad customer service and made me feel that the colour of my skin had more to do with it, as the immigrants sitting on the grass verges had face coverings. Pleasantness costs nothing.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Has to be the world’s worst McDonald’s in the world. I was the only person in the building. The order took 19 minutes to serve me a meal deal. The 3 women in there just didn’t care about the food, customers or their job, their very rude and service just doesn’t exist. When I received the food, the burger was cold and the bred bun all torn and falling apart. Never will I visit this McDonald’s again. Be warned save your money and...
