Hôtel La Lavande — Restaurant in Carpentras

It has been a while since we stayed at the La Lavande and I am still thinking about warning other people to not stay there. It was the only hotel with a vacancy which is why we took the room as we did not have a reservation when we drove into town. It is hard to describe just how horrible the room was. We had the room on the top floor five flights up. No elevator. It was hot, terrible beds, thin horrible sheets and blankets. In order to dry my hair the only electrical outlet was in the bedroom where there was not a mirror. No amenities or convenience of any type. Chambre 9 qualifiée de "très belle" sur le site... Lumineuse et meublée d'une grosse commode rien de plus. Salle de bain très petite et porte de douche incomplète et pas pleinement fonctionnelle car il manque un vantail. De plus il faut se faufiler entre lavabo et douche pour accéder au bac. Eau chaude assez longue à venir. La Sdb mériterait une bonne finition. La nuit a été très perturbée par le petit chien de la maison qui fait face à la fenêtre de la chambre et qui a couiné toute la nuit. Et comme ça donne sur une ruelle ça résonne bien 😈 Il faisait très chaud. (pas de clim) donc fenêtre double vitrage de la chambre ouverte. Il n'y a que LCI de regardable sur la TNT car l'écran reste figé pour toutes les autres chaînes. La porte coupe feu du pallier est voilée donc pas toujours fermée comme elle devrait. Petit Dej 7€/personne c'est cher: 5 tranches de pain frais pour 2 personnes (pas de viennoiserie ou spécialités orientales) et 5 beurres individuels périmés depuis le 24/04/16 (on est le 23/06 quand même), un petit ramequin chacun de confiture, jus d'orange en bouteille (mais bonne qualité) et la boisson chaude. L'accueil par le fiston est poli pas de soucis et le couscous est bien...
