We liked this hotel a lot. The room was typical Euro size so a bit compact by USA standards but neat, clean, tidy and everything worked properly. Good luggage storage area.||The entrance to the hotel is around to the side, entering from the parking lot not directly under the sign on the busy street adjacent to the hotel.||Desk clerk was friendly and with good English. She also served as bar keep.||There is an elevator, but it does a 3 hop adjustment when it reaches your floor. Not a problem if you know it is coming.||There was a safe and Kleenex but no wash cloths. There were pump toiletries and adequate towels.||The room was dimly lit, not untypical in France.||Parking is limited.||The restaurant is lovely and the food excellent with a varied menu for dinner. The room was basic, but clean and perfect for our needs. It was quite a warm night and air conditioning would have been greatly appreciated but I imagine it's not often needed at that altitude. Unfortunately our open window meant that the braying of the neighbor's donkey at 6am sounded like it was in the room next door! Nothing they can do about that and it was good for a laugh. We enjoyed breakfast although the dining-room attendant rushed over when the 4 of us sat at a table set for 5, and whisked away my place setting so I had to move to another seat (she seemed quite disapproving but again, chalk it up to local charm).
