L'Esquirou Bistrot et Vins — Restaurant in District of Dax

This was by far mine and my partner’s favourite restaurant in the Capbreton-Hossegor area during our stay for the summer season. We came for dinner twice, and each time the food, service and atmosphere were beyond exceptional. They have a small menu that is rotated with seasonal and local produce to create unique, modern French dishes. The owner is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about his wine list and Chartreuse offering! Very accommodating and friendly towards English speakers. We went on holiday to this part of France with our extended family. Initially my brother and sister went; they loved it so much, we went the second night. We loved it so much our parents went the third night!

It is certainly worth the trip to Capbreton just to go here for dinner, the food was amazing, the wine was the best I have probably ever tasted, all of it came from local producers and the staff...
