Indie Beach — Restaurant in Draguignan

Very polite lady over the phone for booking. Nice people in the beach and resto. Liked lady in the restaurant, extremely polite and professional. Place is Dog friendly, which is great. Sun bed is abt 50€, with drinks and food be prepared to spend 300€ for a day min. Charges for iPhone are available. Overall nice experience, small bémol is that stuff did not notify during booking about amount of seaweeds due to the storm occurred previously..and another point - they put me in the very far end of the end ( I would say worst) sun bed close to the restroom and shower ( just bcs I was solo?) while plage been far from fully booked and were plenty of sunbeds available during whole day ( not high season) on the front row or in the middle at least further from restroom This is far from being client oriented. Would understand in case of non booking and last minute appearance, but when you are half empty and i did a proper booking- not sure why i had to be placed in the furthest corner spot next to...

Not for the cafe but for the security. When we first arrived to the cafe (it was 18h30), the security was already shaking his head refusing us to enter the cafe, giving us a sign that they’re closed. And then we asked why they were closed when it clearly says that they’re still open until 20h30, the security answers « pourquoi pas? » which means « why not? ». Even the receptionist was confused with his answer, why would he refused us to come when we can see clearly that the other customers were still there, enjoying their food and beverages. We took this as a racist action because we are a group of asian and their other customers inside the cafe were white. Never been to a cafe in EU that were this racist with asian. To the indie beach house, you better fix this kind of problem with your employees or you’re losing more and more potential customers...

We made a reservation for lunch and sunbeds on Saturday, as the beach club promoted it as a party day. We were quoted €150 for three sunbeds. However, when we arrived, there was no party as advertised, and we were charged €180 instead of the agreed-upon amount due to a change in the row of sunbeds, which we had not authorized.

Additionally, the beach was very dirty, and the service was awful. To make matters worse, they placed three mattresses in front of our sunbeds in the first row, obstructing our sea view.

When we tried to address the situation with the management, a young man, around 20 years old, simply dismissed our concerns, saying, "The person you spoke with didn't know the price. It's not my problem, mate." This response was unprofessional and left us feeling like the business is dishonest. I would advise others to...
