Gigi is absolutely stunning. Such a gorgeous oasis amid the hustle and bustle of the St. Tropez area. Upon arrival to Gigi, I was greeted by a driver in a golf cart who drove me to the main property. He was really friendly and made me feel immediately welcome.
Upon arriving to the front desk to check-in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and taken to the pool. That is where the service took a significant nosedive. When I expressed I would like to move the umbrella slightly to limit exposure to the sun, I was told by the waiter that they couldn't move the umbrellas and shrugged off that the sun would move. Later that day, when two women next to me asked for the umbrella to be moved, a different waiter pushed the umbrella over to them without complaint, while also exposing me completely. Additionally, when I inquired about ordering the green juice on the menu, I was told by the waiter that he would have to check to see if it was available and that the price on the menu was incorrect. The juice was not 17 euro but 27 euro - a pretty stark difference. It's an expensive place generally, so it's not the cost, it was just another red flag. I had a nice pasta dish for lunch and two mid cocktails, which were fine but not great.
When it came time to pay, I noticed that my bill for the sunbed and 30 minute massage was 200 euro instead of the 160 euro stated on the website when I booked. I flagged to the waiter who again shrugged my concen off and said that was the price. I had to be that American and asked to speak to his manager. The manager corrected the receipt to 180 euro. While I was still unhappy, I wasn't going to kick up too much of a fuss over 20 euro. I also noticed on the website between the time I booked and the time I arrived (a span of two days), they had increased the price of the package to 190 euros. Net, net, whatever you book in advance, get the cost confirmed in writing. It seems they have some dodgy practices.
It's unfortunately because it's a beautiful spot and all-in-all I had a great time. If I were to return, I would likely only come for a cocktail by the pool and go to one of the many other fabulous clubs in the area that are actually on the beach and value quality service...
Read moreThe day we had our reservation it rained. We were driving from Monaco just to come and have lunch there so I called in the morning and asked if it’s raining - I was told nono, it’s not and even if it is we have a plan. I said ok, we’ll see you soon. We were stuck in traffic and so at 2:20pm I called again to say we are 10 mins late. When we got to Gigi it was raining already. We were told to park the car, got picked up by the valet and went to meet the hostess. The hostess was covered with a towel so she doesn’t get wet from the rain while my husband and I were stood in front of her and she told us we cannot go in as it’s raining and they have no tables for us. At the point, I was already so annoyed and asked why they didn’t call to tell us before so we don’t have to drive from Monaco. We were then taken by one of the hostess who left us in the toillet for 20 mins / she took both my husband and me and said follow me, then she left us in the toillet area to wait… i then went back to the front desk where the hostess was and i said this is unacceptable, I had called twice to confirm it’s ok for us to come you said it’s ok. We then got here and you told us there is no table and then you left us waiting in the toillet. This is the WORST customer service I have ever received. Even then when the hostess saw me upset with the customer service received she said to me “madam I can’t stop the rain for you”. While i appreciate rain is not something you can predict, it’s unacceptable to receive such bad customer service and arrogance. The entire service was a disaster, we order the langouisteine pasta as it was recommended as the dish of the day. We asked how heavy it is and the waiter told us it was around half of kilogram, the bill came and it was 450€ for the pasta do exactly 1 kg for the langoustine. Again, we were misslead but didn’t want to say anything as at the stage, we were already so dissapointed with the service and customer service. It was truly a very disappointing experience and i would not...

I wish I read reviews before I went, so I am writing mine hoping I can save some people the trouble to go there and not enjoy their overpriced yet tasteless meal along with horrible service.
So let’s talk about your service, starting from the parking where we are asked to pay 15€ (Gigi’s dedicated parking) before even getting a table. Continuing with the waiter who is suggesting a meal of the day, caviar pasta of 250€ without mentioning the price, then angrily returning menus to us when we said we don’t want it. After ordering mains and saying we don’t want an appetizer, waiter was pushing again saying ‘the main will take some time to prepare, at least 20 minutes, better get something’, so we added a hot appetizer that within 5-10 minutes was served together with both our main courses! I mean at least fake it and hold my main order while you are upselling me the full lunch…
Best part of the service catastrophe was once the waiter brought the check and tipped himself on the POS machine 20%, well I think he deserves a big tip for the role of tricking people. And btw machine offers you 10,15 and 20% service fee, which is not mandatory fyi, especially when you service is on this level. I wanted to keep my good mood so he got 10%. Plus this review.
And food, well, don’t count on it being tasty. Dry pizza with tomato sauce full of oregano, tasteless parmigiana and the biggest disappointment was pasta with clams - wrong type of pasta and also why put parsley sauce??
So if you appreciate good food and service, don’t bother coming here. Also their mixed restroom is not on the level they are trying to be, you can clearly see men doing their thing through semi closed curtains.
And to be completely honest in this review, I will add things that were not bad, such as natural ambiance of the place, live band was quite lovely and engaging, and my...
