Wonderful experience to have dinner in the evening outside. La Garde-Freinet is what you imagine a village in the Provence looks like. This restaurant is one of several adjacent to each other. In our group of 6 we all enjoyed our meal, but for me, I had the best ever steak I ever had in France. It was the one for 2 so it is the "partage" one. It was gorgeous. I normally don't go for pepper sauce but that was very good as well! The house wine however, in particular the white one was not good at all. I should avoid the white house wine. The red was so so, next time I will choose a bottle from the wine list. The mousse au chocola was a standard good one. We had a wonderful evening (except for the wine)

Stopped by for lunch. Plenty seating outdoors and a nice atmosphere. Service was excellent and helpful. We had a Sea Bass dish and a Goats Cheese salad. Both were absolutely excellent, very tasty and a large portion. Local rose wine was also nice. Great place to eat at and we shall visit again, highly recommended. And we did visit again for an excellent dinner and warm hospitality.

This family run restaurant serves some of the best food in the village. It can look a little pricey, but quality of the food is fantastic and they do not skimp on portion size. Overall experience is good & they mix a good Bloody Mary for any holidaymakers that need the breakfast of champions after a heavy night.

A éviter. (50m plus loin, sur la petite place,...
