We entered the place for three reasons....
The lady had hoped us navigate our car earlier when we drove into the day's Marché, thanks to Google Maps' directions. The place was the busiest on the square, and They were the only one comforting their customers in the scorching heat with a water mist sprayer on the terrace (a second sign that they cared)
The place has generous portions, great taste and served with a smile. Like anywhere else in France, the wait is long.... The prices are quite okay, a bit higher than expected for the small place, but I guess in line with a touristy period here. We paid 37 euros for non-alcoholic drinks, and a main course. The portions were so generous that we didn't have any place for dessert.

From snarky comments about our questions to making us wait 1h+ to take our order (the restaurant had two other tables), they clearly don’t want to engage with tourists in the same manner they do with «the locals ». Yet another location with amazing and original food that is let down by service staff that get offended at any questions and treat english/foreigners...

With a reservation we returned and the menu lived up to the fond memories. The tea menu is also exceptional, and I recommend the thé gourmand. It's a true French restaurant, so don't expect to be rushed in and out, and don't expect English. My French is still weak, but they were patient...
