We visited this restaurant on July 20th around 8:00 PM, just to have a drink on the terrace. Before sitting down, we politely asked (in English) if it was possible to order just drinks, as we don’t speak French. One of the waitresses, who didn’t speak English, answered in French with a gesture indicating it was okay, so we took a seat and ordered two soft drinks.

A bit later, we noticed a board on the wall listing desserts with prices. We thought it would be nice to order something sweet, so we tried to place a dessert order. However, the same waitress returned and, as soon as we began to ask, she started shouting at us very aggressively, saying (in French) that this is a restaurant and we must order food. We tried to explain we only wanted dessert, even making an effort to speak in French, but she wouldn’t let us finish a sentence and just kept shouting. Her tone and attitude were completely inappropriate and very upsetting.

She then told us, in a very rude way, to move to another part of the establishment, saying it was for drinks only. Strangely, this “bar area” was completely empty. A few minutes later, that same waitress came over to speak with the bar staff, and only then were we finally allowed to finish our drinks in peace.

We left the place feeling extremely uncomfortable. We understand that a restaurant may have rules, but shouting at customers, being aggressive, and refusing to listen is unacceptable—especially in a tourist area where many people don’t speak the local language.

It was a humiliating and discriminatory experience, and sadly, a single staff member's behavior ruined what could have been an enjoyable moment. The location is nice, and one of the other waitresses was actually kind and helpful—but this kind of treatment is simply not okay. We do not...

There is no food menu on the table, even in French so we may use translation. And no pictures of course. just a handwritten panel from which to guess what would be for dinner. But I saw some attractive picture with food on Google maps so I ordered from there (the waiter women identified the food as duck). Unfortunately the duck was pretty bad and not at all like in other images (you may see the texture of the meat in my photos). The eggplant had been on the grill until there was nothing left of it. It was black and dry. Fortunately at least hamburger was made fine and the side potatoes was fresh. But this is to less. Definitely the price didn’t justified the quality of the food. Très bon accueil, personnel très sympathique et souriant, néanmoins nous ne nous sommes pas régalés du tout. 2 salades de chèvre chaud. On a jamais vu ça. Salade fletrie, aucun assaisonnement, le speack douteux,les cornichons secs,sortis probablement depuis 1 moment de leur pot de vinaigre et le chèvre chaud, c'était l'apothéose, sans goût, sec,entouré d'une fine couche de brick, pour clôturer le tout, nous avons été entourés d'une dizaine d'abeilles pendant le repas. Du coup, nous n'avons pas fini nos assiettes ,nous n'avons pris aucun dessert et nous sommes partis très vite. Qualité prix, cher pour ce que c'est. Nous ne reviendront plus. Nous avons bien lu votre réponse et nous espérons que c'est une plaisanterie. Vous n'avez pas de frigo pour conserver vos aliments ? Vous n'avez aucune excuse et vous reconnaissez donc que vos produits sont douteux,donc pas frais. Le speack était noir tout autour de chaque tranche et je ne reparlerais pas du reste. dire que nous nous sommes « défoulés » derrière notre écran alors que nous vous avons fait part de notre mécontentement au moment du repas et du règlement me semble inadapté. de plus, personne ne nous a jamais proposé d’échanger les salades comme écrit dans votre réponse. mentir ne redorera pas votre image…. travaillant dans la restauration, le minimum quand un client n’est pas satisfait est de revenir vers lui rapidement avec une réponse et non pas d’attendre qu’il vous sollicite à nouveau. sur quels critères jugez vous vos clients pour vous permettre d’affirmer « cela s’est vu dès votre arrivée » ? inutile d’ajouter qu’il est tout à fait déplacé, impoli et irrespectueux de médire dans le dos des clients (pensant qu’il ne vous entendent pas). nous étions déjà venus dans votre établissement et nous faisions un plaisir de renouveler l’expérience, nous aurions dû rester sur notre première impression… étant des grands consommateurs de restaurants, une expérience comme ça, c’était bien la première fois !
