L'Incontro — Restaurant in Gex

My family and I found this place superb the interior had a dark theme with an aquarium the outside terrace had plenty of tables and parasols. We were warmly welcomed by a waiter who was very kind and quickly seated us. They were many choices on the menu to choose from, pizzas, pasta, seafood, etc. However, do not expect to be served quickly, we ought to wait for quite some time, but the dishes were delicious!

The pizzas were huge and delicious, and on the side, they gave us fresh spicy oil. If you are a huge seafood lover, then I recommend their seafood dishes, it is quite pricy, but it is fair due to what by is served. For the kids' menu we had ordered half a pizza, it is was quite big, so I don't recommend it if your child doesn't have much of an appetite. Furthermore, outside the restaurant is a play area for kids that is visible from the terrace.

I went to the restaurant l'Incontro and made a big mistake of ordering their Filets de Perche. I could not believe how bad it was. First, it was not fresh at all. The vegetable accompanying was so so. It looked overcooked and overused. Well, hoping I can change the meal, I asked the lady waiter but she kept telling me it is good, she cooked it as I asked, etc. Oh well! I could not touch it so it had to be paid for without being eaten and did not want to cause drama in front of my kids! I have been there twice and I had really different experiences. First time was full of people and the pizzas were horrible: cooked at really high temperature in 30 seconds, so completely burnt from outside (literally with ashes) but then everything raw. One of the worst pizzas in my life. Second time was empty and pizzas were really reallt good. They should try to keep the quality and accept when they can't take...
