La Promenade — Restaurant in Gourdon

Stayed here for three nights as a base for visiting this beautiful area in lovely hot weather. Check in was efficient and friendly. Parking was a problem as the car park was behind the hotel, with no shortcut. A long way round dragging suitcases. There was a lift, good as we were in 304!|The price of the hotel was ok. The bedroom were ok. Food was expensive, but that was down to Brexitiers and the fall in the pound. We are in the restaurant on one night. Good food. Good service. Bedroom small but ok. Bed comfortable. Air conditioning good. |My biggest gripe was the Euro12 for breakfast. This was not explained as an extra and came as a shock. Also the breakfast was certainly NOT worth the money.|The last night was awful. A coach party was in the hotel who snored and banged around all.night. Due to the lack is sound proofing, we got no sleep at all.|In general, a hotel with problems but with a super...

I stayed here for a family wedding in a nearby château. Staff are warm and friendly I personally loved the hotel it is quirky and right in the centre of town with the|Tourist office opposite. I felt very welcome as a solo traveller. The bedroom was serviced every day. Breakfast as expected croissants pain au chocolat cereal some dried fruits jams juice and teas coffees Room had air con TV hairdryer plenty of space in wardrobe the bed lower than I’m used to but perfectly comfortable I thought for the height of summer this hotel presents excellent value for money to note they don’t open their restaurant but plenty of other choices in the town.
