Bar Du Portail — Restaurant in Grasse

We have been visiting the area for the last 8 years and visit at least twice. On each occasion the food has been excellent and the atmosphere great and the owner , JP , has always made us very welcome. Highly recommended. Please ignore the criticism about the Tacos , it's probably made up as , over the last 8 years we have NEVER seen Tacos on the menu and certainly not the ONLY good on there. They were probably in a different restaurant. Maybe it's time they went to Specsavers. Planning another meal for this...

We found this great little relaxed restaurant by chance and had a wonderful meal here. We got the last table on a Wednesday night, meaning there was a great atmosphere. The hosts were very welcoming and the pizza and salad were top notch! The bill was a very pleasant surprise, and the night was topped off with a lovely walk around the old village, with views of the mists rolling up the valley. last minute find at the top of a hilly winding road. I didn't have a pizza but they looked great and some really interesting topping options. I had a superb and huge chicken caesar salad instead.

My husband had the home made apple tart which was totally delicious 😋
