Café Laffitte — Restaurant in Grasse

Very poor experience. The location and restaurant itself are very nice however the quality of service and food is extremely poor considering also the prices. We went there for lunch and after ordering we waited 1 hour for the dishes. I had a Caesar Salad (21 EUR) and 3/4 of the plate was just salad, 3 pieces of chicken and basically no Parmesan no sauce and no “croutons”. My colleague took the Ceasar Salad as well she asked without bacon and she got it with bacon. They took it back however they never delivered the new salad. Finally she had to go to the counter to ask for it and what did they serve? Another salad with bacon…. Then was the time for dessert. Again waiting time was quite long and they brought coffee before the dessert.. We ordered Tiramisu and we returned it to the kitchen because it was crème chantilly with some amaretti, so definitely not a tiramisu. Nice location in Sophia Antipolis with an outdoor terrace. Very poor service. The woman that served us was rather unpleasant. We were one of the first guests that came for lunch and one of the last to leave, because we were waiting a long time to be finally asked whether we would like to order a dessert. We ordered a large cookie and it was awfully sweet. The ravioli gratiné were ok, lots of cheese. The prices are rather expensive for the quality of the food. 18 Euros for the ravioli and 18 Euros for a cookie with chocolate and cream, meant for two people to share. There are better...

Lieu superbe, service top mais tarif trop cher pour sophia. Burger pas mal et frite ok. Mais pour 23€ on s'attend à quelques chose d'un peu plus consistant. Des collègues ont prit le filet mignon, très beau dans l'assiette mais la viande était trop cuite malheureusement. Les tiramisu minute ne sont fait que de chantilly et d'un ou 2 boudoirs dur...a 10€ c'est trop pour ce que c'est..de mon côté le baba au rhum était plus parfumé qu'imbibé ce qui est un peu le but de ce dessert. Seconde fois pour voir si cela avait évoluer ou changer selon les commentaires et donc dernière fois pour ma part. Si les tarifs étaient en relation avec ce qu'on trouve dans l'assiette je dis oui la ce n'est pas le cas. Surtout au centre de Sophia. Le problème étant les conçurent qui n'ont pas ce cadre mais qui proposent des choses excellentes a des tarifs bien moindre. Bonne continuation...
