Chez Kim — Restaurant in Grasse

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't be fooled. The food is absolutely delicious, they know what they are doing. We tried the shrimp with vegetables, the Pho-bo and the noodles with beef and all 3 were fresh and tasted amazing. The service was also very, very nice and attentive. The only downside was the red wine by the glass, we left ours basically untouched as it was horrendous. But we came in for the food, not the wine, so...

Had a meal two evenings in October out of our three evening stay in Cagnes sur Mer. Both evenings were Superb served by Kim in her traditional dress, her husband Lan is a brilliant chef the ambience and the meal were second to none. De source sûre, la réputation de ce restaurant n'est plus à faire, mais impossible pour moi de mettre ma pierre à l'édifice car je ne venais à Cagnes que lors des fêtes de fin d'années lorsque le restaurant est fermé pour congés annuels.

J'ai enfin eu l'occasion de venir hors période de Noël et ai enfin pu pousser la porte de ce tout petit restaurant vietnamien situé au pied du haut de Cagnes dans une rue où passent peu de piétons, à l'écart de la rue Renoir.

Et je confirme, excellents plats vietnamiens et vraiment vietnamiens. Soupe phó parfaite, raviolis top, seiches sel et poivre à la cuisson parfaite.

Le service est irréprochable.

Vous aurez compris que pour profiter de cette excellente table vietnamienne, il ne faut pas venir à Noël, sinon vous devrez attendre comme je l'ai fait pendant des...
