It started as a nice famiy lunch on the terrace of the restaurant. Good food, good service, beautiful view and kind waiters… Towards the end of the meal and after paying a 1500 euro bill, my brother’s step dad who is visiting us from Korea was proudly taking pictures from the terrace of the restaurant of his daughter who was 20 meters lower on the floating deck pontoon of the hotel. She was having a very friendly conversation with a very famous movie director about to board his boat who kindly exchanged a few words and didn’t seem bothered whatsoever. All of a sudden we hear a man in a suit and tie, it was the hotel manager Mr Phillipe Perd, yelling at my brother’s step dad repeatedly in front of all the clients of the restaurant « hey you » « don’t you understand english » « stay here i’ll take care of you » in a very very threatening way… then he barged pass his staff. Let me answer for my brother’s step dad Mr Perd: No he does not speak a word of english and yes you were totally disrespectful to him. You do not talk to a client that way and if you have a problem with him you come and talk to him in a calm and well mannered way as it is expected from a hotel manager of a prestigious hotel. I am french and i feel a lot of shame of the way foreign tourists are welcomed in this country. Sorry if i am not a famous movie director (at least he was very nice and respectful) and if my money is not good enough for you please let me know i will be delighted to spend it...

My partner and I have travelled extensively and love good food and I can honestly say this is one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. The prices are utterly obscene, which is no problem if you receive amazing food but when it’s less than mediocre even, it’s a big issue.
This was a celebratory meal and the disappointment levels were extremely high. We ordered one of the signature dishes - sea bass for 2. It’s 188 EUR so I was expecting an amazing whole sea bass at the best possible level. Instead we received the most pathetic HALF fillet portion each. It was beyond words. We were told it comes with asparagus and sweet potato from the grill. In the Eden Cap du Roc world this means 1 stem of asparagus on the plate! It is actually laughable.
Somehow a nice view (there are similar ones everywhere in the world) has given them the arrogance to think that this is acceptable. Anyone who has given this place anything above 2 stars either has no clue about good food or has money to burn.
The upstairs bar is ok, the service is ok but overall this will be marked with a massive black cross. It’s a food lovers...

To celebrate a family member's birthday, I chose the Eden-Roc Grill, a venue I already knew through its fine dining restaurant.
From arrival at the checkpoint, through the valet service to the reception desk, the welcome perfectly reflects the spirit of the place: warm and refined, transporting us to an era when the art of living and social graces truly mattered.
The service was exemplary thanks to Laetitia, who combined elegance, professionalism, and personalized attention. I experienced American-style service at its finest. Passionate about her craft, she provided excellent recommendations from cocktails through dessert.
The menu was a succession of discoveries: remarkably crafted guacamole enhanced with a sparkle of pomegranate; deliciously aromatic beef; and to finish, an array of desserts that was a feast for both the eyes and palate, subtly sweetened to let the delicate flavors shine through.
Dining at the Eden-Roc Grill is like stepping into a timeless bubble of well-being that you never want to leave, carried by the staff's genuine care and the magic of the setting. If paradise were to exist on earth, it would surely look like...
