Hydra Beach — Restaurant in Grasse

Great day at Hydra, the staff were so welcoming and were very friendly and helpful throughout the day. Food was also amazing - and reasonably priced. We were asked about lunch sittings on arrival and so reserved a table for the second sitting at 14:00. €85 all together for the sun bed (€35 on its own for first row), a couple of coffees, large water, lunch (including dessert) and a glass of wine. We were not staying nearby but made the trip and it was completely worth it! We felt very welcome and the day was faultless! I would highly recommend and hope to return...

Hydra in Antibes is an absolute gem. The setting is stunning. The staff are warm and attentive and everything feels effortlessly welcoming. Cocktails are refreshing and perfectly balanced, with plenty of local flavors to try. The food is light, fresh, and ideal for a seaside afternoon — especially the Hydra salad 🥗. Watch out! Misleasing website.

The website says “1 parasol for 2 mattresses” at the price of €25 (look at my 2 photos). That clearly makes it seem like you’re renting one unit that includes 1 parasol and 2 sunbeds. The neighboring place (Lutetia) charges €11 per sunbed, meaning €22 for two – so we figured Hydra was just slightly more expensive.

When we were about to leave, Hydra suddenly wanted €50 for two people.
