Le Potager — Restaurant in Grasse

We decided to eat in this restaurant this evening. When the waiter came with menu I asked for Wi fi code after ordering the food he still did not bring it. I got up and he told me to wait 5 minutes as he was busy. I ordered the Côte de Provence wine it came as a 1/4 of glass not what was on the menu. It tasted very weak as and very watery. I drink that wine all the time and never did it taste like that. Also as you can see the wine had loads of white sediment in the bottom. I ordered the steak hatche burger with French fries. The burger was ordered medium and came well done. The waiter was asked for mustard but it came as the food finished. The French fries were soggy not fresh. Not a good experience. Booked because of so many good reviews. After looking at the website I thought we were going to get lots of fresh vegetables. I had the stuffed chicken. This came with potato’s and some rocket. It was a tasty meal, seasoned well and cooked well. I was disappointed that it wasn’t accompanied by vegetables when they give that impression. My sister had the burger which she was disappointed with, a lot of relish so was difficult to taste the meat and no side salad, just fries. The waitress was like a super woman, handling the lunch service all by herself and managed to give enough time each table to explain about food/menu/drink. Nothing to fault here. I took away one star for lack of balanced plating. In southern France local eateries, I'm used to seeing dishes accompanied with a small salad especially you order a meat heavy dish. Here you have to order individual sides. Neighbouring restaurants were serving their dish either with some type of side veggies and a variation potato option. In my opinion, they could be more generous...
