I had the âmenuâ which cost 38 euros and the main dish was veal with baked potatoes (supposed to be risotto but they ran out) and some of the potatoes were completely burnt and hard. When I said it to the waitress instead of being apologetic she got annoyed and said it was supposed to be like that đ In what world do you serve customers burnt potatoes and charge them so much money for it (((. Iâd day come here for thinks with a view, but then the one time we did we were asked to sit away from the ledge to leave the âniceâ table for guests who will want to eat (pizza). Needless to say the table remained empty throughout the night.
Reluctantly came back to eat (thereâs like 3 restaurants here, and all the others were closed), and the server pushed drinks on us, and then proceeded to ask us mid-meal whether we want our pizzas put in a box.

   Read moreMy husband and I stayed in Saint Jeannet in September 2014, in a villa on the hilltop with my in-laws and had a beautiful stay exploring the south of France. Le Sainte Barbe was the perfect spot to have a coffee of an evening and watch the sunset over Nice. The coffee was lovely - and you had a free biscuit too. The free wifi was super-fast and providing a nice place to have a morning coffee and catch up with emails. We didn't stay at the hotel so cannot comment...
