We were on our way to a pizza restaurant along the road as we had just arrived a few hours before. We walked past the front of this Thai restaurant and wete intrigued by the amount of people already seated at the tables outside. We thought we would give it a try, and opted to sit inside. The restaurant was reassuringly well booked up, with most of the tables already reserved. We took the last free table for two and settled in. We were given menus that were in French, but as it is France, what else would we expect. After hearing our appalling French accents whilst ordering the drinks, the waitress kindly offered us a menu in English The choice on the menu was not as extensive as you may be used to in the UK, but the food that was prepared for us was simply delicious. Spring rolls and samosas to start, spicy basil beef and tempura prawns for main meals. The restaurant is clean, the service very good and the food fresh and tasty. No wonder the place is so busy...
Read moreWe are on holiday for 5 days, staying nearby. Whilst trying to find a nice French restaurant, we happened upon this takeaway. My wife is Thai and always reluctant to use Thai restaurants, as they are invariably disappointing. In this case, we were extremely impressed. The food is excellent, and authentically Thai. So good was it that we returned the next morning for a special order of Thai sausages (sai-koh-isan). Totally amazing! I wish we had a restaurant like this near us back home in dear old blighty....
