Bad experience, mediocre food (for the price). Would not recommend, especially when there are other restaurants within a 5 minute walk which are fantastic and similarly priced. 1) The food *looked* beautiful but was fairly bland. The way it is priced, it should be much better. -€40 ravioli dish with maybe 5 or 6 ravioli in it, so at €7-8 per ravioli, is priced highly. And it was quite bland. -steak was expensive, DRY without the sauce, and overcooked. We asked for medium rare and it was clearly not (see photo) -some of the dishes lack creativity, for example they re-use the same green horseradish sorbet in three dishes 2) The service was disorganized, with poor communication. -We waited 45 minutes between the appetizer arriving and the main course arriving. We had to ask them when our food was coming. And we asked them for additionally bread and they did not bring any. -Many times when they brought out food you could see the waiters arguing amongst themselves about where it went and what table it was for. -They paraded our fish in front of us and then gave it to another table who had ordered AFTER us. I read Google reviews and apparently we are not the only ones this happened to. If you are going to make a big show of presenting the fish at least do it right! -once the main courses arrived, they kept taking the plates without asking if we were finished, even though we weren’t finished, we had to essentially argue with the server to keep the plate -they were a bit snippy. The next time they came to take our plate she asked “are you sure?” Generally, I’d summarize as not worth the expensive price tag; there are too many other fantastic restaurants nearby to go to instead. They have clearly become complacent because of the beautiful location. I apologize if this is overly harsh, I just think for the price tag it should be a positive experience. And reading the other reviews, I am clearly not alone.

Cap d’Antibes — where the Mediterranean sparkles below you and the air smells faintly of salt, citrus, and quiet money. The panoramic view over the Bay of Nice is nothing short of astonishing, the kind of view that makes you pause mid-sentence just to breathe it in. We were the only “normals” among a sea of millionaires and billionaires, yet we were treated with the same respect, grace, and discreet charm. In simple terms: whatever the heart of a billion-dollar wallet desires, you can find here. But let’s be honest — neither the food nor the view entirely justifies the steep price tags… until you take that first bite of the paddlefish. Superb doesn’t quite cover it. Price-wise, it’s at least half of what you’d pay in Monaco — and with a view that’s arguably even better. For a romantic walk-in to impress someone, this place delivers in spades. That said, €500 for two people (no starter, a few easy drinks) feels right on the edge of superb and overpriced. From my personal perspective, this is a true 4.5-star experience. Don’t expect to see any locals dining here — unless they’re working discreetly as part of the staff. Dress code and valet parking are not suggestions; they’re part of the experience. And compared to other elite destinations I’ve seen, this is still worth a try at least once in a lifetime.

Maison de Pigeon… scorpion fish was insipid because they conveniently forgot to serve the condiments (sauce etc) along and we didn’t get to witness the “table side serving” as they were parading our dish to other tables before eventually handing it to us.. Better service is expected for the 300 euros price tag on that fish alone. The bouillabaisse also arrived colder than the pathetic sorbet that was offered for the inconvenience that the staff admitted but it didn’t make up for it unfortunately. Better go to Eden Roc or Fred l’Ecailler for proper local seafood. Edit: contrary to what the owner says below, no invitation to discuss or answers were provided at all. This is quite misleading and deceptive.

High expectations, High hopes, and a lot of disappointment.

A beautiful view at sun set. With tasty coctails and a good wine list, but the flavour was lacking.

The bread one of the nicest things about the meal. - in saying that the syphoned olive oil with citrus zest, was over the top and unnecessary considering that there was already olive oil on the table. Snack which was a Parmasan basil tomato cracker, (which placed on a lemon gel which wasn't particularly nice) to stop it from moving on the plate, had adsorbed to much moisture while laying somewhere in the kitchen. This was far to crumbly when going to pick it up. The starters. Red tuna carpaccio, such a shame the tuna was swimming in a preserved lemon dressing which was so over powering you couldnt taste the fish let alone any of the garden garnish that was put on top, to see all the hard work of the chefs wasted is a crime, and a disrespect of the beautiful seafood. The tuna dish came with a cuttle fish / squid ink tuille with umami butter on the driest piece of bread, you would have thought they had left on top of the oven over night to dry out.- and again with lemon gel. arghhh. When we had sent it back to the kitchen we requested that we didn't want another but to proceed with the main courses. But another one came out swiftly which was in lightly dressed but I had finished my starter by the time came, The ravioli with its own bisque and the supplementary extra langustine. The bisque was good colour and flavoursome somewhat but under seasoned The pasta underfilled was over cooked, didn't have any bite. The langustine pieces was poached or sous vided, which I wouldn't normally have a problem with, but when you look back across the meal I just question what more can you have circulating in a water bath for hours at a time. The pea tendrils and red vain sorrell brought nothing the dish what so ever other than a after thought of some green garnish, which gets caught in your teeth because the pea tendrils had become stringy and lost there sweetness. The mains The lobster pasta.(the lobster was cooked well, which should be expected considering it was almost 200€.) Which was ripped out it's shell table side on gueridon trolley (but nothing was actually cooked Or finished on the trolley, apart from the plating.) slapped together, to a weak saffron sauce which was on the thin side, dressed in a squid ink Penne pasta. And again pea tendrils and long stemed dill. The bouillabaisse - the main reason for visiting this restaurant. Here again with the sous vided / poached fennel which was so soft you could cut it with spoon, and fish, and langustine was all the same texture drowned in the soup which it look like it could have been served in oliver twist as groul.(again served from the trolley) It lacked flavour, love, and seasoning, with no depth of flavour, no mussels, no clams no variety, and the two pieces of saffron potato and cherry tomato showed where the flavour came from in the dish. Finding small scales didn't help the situation. The ruoxi and croutons were as good as the dish got.

By this point we had enough of this experience and asked for the bill, the manager took off the bouillabaisse, and was extremely apologetic and asked if we would like to see the dessert menu which we didn't want to see. Seconds later once the manager left, the section waiter came to ask if we were done, and would like to see the dessert menu. We politely said no thanks, left what was left of our drinks,...

Never have I left a meal so upset. We went for a romantic dinner here while visiting from California. We have been to many Michelin star restaurants. The service was veeeery slow and they seemed understaffed. Usually these experienced have a beautiful orchestrated flow to them. This was far from that. I had to ask for: dinner menus (yes!!) lemons for water (they finally gave them at the end of the meal!) and then came an oxidized glass of red wine (that we ordered from the manager because our server was repeatedly no where to be found) which I sadly had to send back. Then came the bill… all looked ok but my boyfriend’s dish was not just the original price of $47 as stated, but an additional $195 fee on top of this for the lobster in the dish. We ordered on the left side of the menu where all prices were listed. On the right, we were told (after I inquired with the waiter) that the fish was priced by weight. We did not order from this side. When he ordered the dish none of this was explained. When we politely told this to the same manager who had been also serving us, he told us that “everyone knows that the 100 grams listed is too small of an amount for fish” and we should have known that when the waiter mentioned 600 grams that this was an additional charge (!!!). We are always fine to pay a charge when we understand and explained about what it is, but in this case it was never explained by our server, and we didn’t even remotely know what we were getting into. The manager argued with us and said he could give a special deal of 1/2 off the dish. He refused any further service reduction and sat there and argued other us. This is on a dish that is being charged to us over 6 times the original price! Only in France. TLDR: Avoid this place like the plague and bring your...
