I love this place! It's not the food, though it's perfectly decent. It's not the decor, which is basic at the most. It's the location and the people. This place is just amazing. If you want a nice place to have a drink and munch on something on a summer's evening, there's no better. The staff are just great too. When we were in Ile de Ré we ended up here every evening. Horrible, Unbelievably rude and cruel! No staffs was wearing masks in the kitchen. Yikes. We had to bring drinks ourselves since they were too slow. While waiting for the straws for kids drinks they removed us to accommodate the next person who reserved our table. Turns out it was one of their employee to have diner with her son. We were a party of 6 and one of our kids was crying with foot injury from the restaurant but they give no accommodation included all our unfinished...

Busy restaurant with a very special setting looking out to sea.

Menu including a lot of classics plus daily changing specials with a focus on local seafood.

We've been several times and I can highly recommend the fish soup, lamb cutlets and tuna with sauce vierge. Mark had a spectacularly good Isle Florent for dessert .

The local rosé is the perfect accompaniment and brilliant value at 6 euros for 50cl (2023).
