Short recap: this place truly has potential once the team would really work as a team. We did not experience this unfortunately. To start, the couple who arrived after us were served first (taking orders, bringing drinks and the amuses), which does not give a nice impression and left us thirsty for quite some time. Then we quite clearly ordered two entrees each, for a first course and a second, without ordering a plate (but may be leave some space for a dessert). One of the waiters got back to us to check if we indeed intend it like this (“l’une pour l’une?” “Oui, exactement”). When the food arrived it was my two entreés at the same time and nothing for my husband. As we protested the waiter did not seem to bother and placed my second (hot) entrée between us to share (…?). We protested again and then my second entrée was removed. We had to wait for my husbands first order to arrive after that. We complained to what seemed to be the floor manager, and he said that his colleague did not understand our English (but we confirmed to him in French), which is not very professional - and which should not be our problem. It was a very weird experience, also almost impossible to order a next glass of wine. We felt totally ignored and in the end I went inside to place my order but was told to return to my table -only to see several waiters passing our table before we finally managed to get us some new drinks. The whole experience was a total disappointment even though the food was to some extend very good. Loved the poireaux and the l’os en moelle, but the ‘wild’ gambas dit not stand out at all. The wine was lovely and so was the dessert. These guys should step up their game and not be so arrogant assuming they own Bistronomie (and every tourist buying that). It starts with hospitality and...

I went there with my wife and 4 year old son. Wife had the veggie starter and a dessert; son had the fish and profiterole as dessert; I had the shrimps for starters and pork belly as a main.
Everybody loved their dishes, and the shrimps were perfectly cooked, still not as perfect as the pork belly, which melted on the tongue.
Price is fair and 12 EUR for a kids menu of this quality is a such a deal.
Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The chef came out to see how we liked the food. And when I interrogated him on the secret behind his incredibly tender pork belly he took his time to teach me. Shortly after the tutorial he even returned after a bit with an ipad showing me the method visually. Fab.
There was one misunderstanding in communication. In my impatience, I asked the waiter who took our plates (who happened not to be the one who took our original order) if he could take our dessert order, which he happily did. I, however, forgot to mention that the profiterole was not for me, but for my son. So, we got an amazing adult sized profiterole (all of which my son inhaled). When we got the bill we were a bit confused (as the profiterole was on there as extra), but they removed it from the check and did not have us pay for it.
In hindsight, they had all the right to ask us to pay for it, and they should have. Wo would also happily paid for it, had we not realised too late that this was all kinda our (read: my)...
Read moreWhat a treat!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Family of four, with two children age 13 and 16, had a main course, dessert and beverages and paid 162€ all in all…. That is VERY reasonable considering the quality of the meals! ❤️😋 We were all really happy with the food and the service, and the kids were blown away by the main course… quote: ‘this is the BEST food, I EVER tasted!’ 😍 We ordered a bottle of Evian water, since someone here said that the free water tasted like chlorine- which was right… Someone else here said that the portions was small… not true! We were more than full after two courses! Everything was spectacular… even the bathroom….. 😄🥰⭐️⭐️⭐️
Not much else to say, than ‘Enjoy your meal!!!’...
