RUDE PEOPLE! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE RESPECTED. I READ OTHER REVIEWS THAT ARE A BIT THE SAME. CUSTOMER = TRASH IN THIS RESTAURANT. Me and my girlfriend went into the restaurant and sat at the table. We got water and ordered. We were in the restaurant for about 40 minuten and just got our pizza's. We started te eat and after 2 bites someone from the staff came and told us we had to leave because we didn't make a reservation. First of all tell your customers that you are booked before you take orders and serve them. Second of all why so rude we weten just starting to eat and we were already 40 minutes into the restaurant. He took a box and smashed thé pizza's in. We had to leave immediately because other people were going to take our table. But there were still other empty tables left but no we had to leave. Very shamefull and very rude. We didn't even got a discount. The staff didn't care. That's so rude against your customers it's disgusting. Very disrespectfull. They treated us like trash. If your resrayrant is "reservation only" you have to communicate that. If the staff makes a mistake the staff should pay thé price for the mistake not the customer. Find another table or something but no they are lazy and rude. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE NOT MEANT TO BE IN A RESTAURANT. It ruins our evening. Thank you...

Reception was cordial but friendly, and in no-time we were seated in a very nice spot. Then the lunch-rush came. What a vawt amount of people... Oh yeah, what we also didn't realise was that they had just received their first Gault&Millau star... Our lunch was all of the following: very tasty, busy, huge plates, hectic, quick and fair. Never did we feel ourselves unwanted, Never had we anything negative to say about the food or staff. I would highly reccommend making reservations, even in off-season. When our toddler becomes a little older, we will probably...
Read moreWe were staying with Francois in Maison d'Hote. Arriving in Vogüe on the Tuesday evening Chez Popeye was his recommendation. The people are so friendly. The pizza is good, there is a good range of salads and some other options of which the chicken and steak were enjoyable. The house red was young and oxidized fast and became sour. My only slight issue. We had Bellaruche, Chapoutier from the Rhone (we passed on our bikes) another time and then up a notch to Haute Vigne 2021 which was smooth and v drinkable on our final night. We had become regulars and were given limoncello free gratis as a digestive. Thanks to Luc...
