Pretty average for a restaurant meant for tourists.
STAFF: Staff spoke English well enough, not the best, but what do you expect. However, they were joking and fun at times.
FOOD: I bought a Caesar salad, and it was okay. All the food portions were pretty big, which I am personally not a fan of. The meal felt like eating a store-bought salad instead.
MISHAPS: The menu was inaccurate at times. On the English menu, it showed "Fanta lemon or orange," but surprise surprise, Fanta lemon was not an option. Alongside, it also showed it was 33cl, but when it arrived at the table, it was only 25cl. After pronouncing waffle in french, which apparently we didn’t get it right, and asking for waffle in English 🧇 which let’s be honest I think anyone would understand. Especially from a waffle bar.
We waited 6/7 minutes for it to be cooked, as I walked away to eat it is was cold! 🥶
I mean what and where did it come from. The edges were mildly tepid at best!
The center was COLD, I threw half of it away and after the language breakdown I couldn’t be bothered to argue my disappointment 🫣

Read moreWe went to ‘Le France’ for a family meal whilst on holiday. The salmon was excellent. We also had a mixed grill. The turkey skewers and chicken steak were very good. We were less keen on the beef steak at first but as the waiter was so attentive he offered to take it away and cook it some more. The steak returned with additional chips and was much better. Do ask for the steak ‘well done’ if you require medium or more as cooking styles vary from the UK. We finished with the ice cream which was excellent.
