Beautiful location but really terrible food. Don't go here! Everything was really awful, old, stale and cheap. It looked bad and tasted worse. The staff was unfriendly and never asked how we liked our food or asked how we wanted our steak. The foie gras is not cooked and looked repulsive. The steak was burnt and overcooked. The saus was just horrible. The toast was cremated. And to top it off - the chocolate fondant was sour and.... I have no words it was so bad. I feel sick. When we paid, a nice lady asked if we were pleased with the food, we told her, and she refunded us for the main course. That was nice of her, because the thought of paying 95 euros for the meal was tearing us up inside... Go 50 meters up the road to La tour de Môle or across the bridge to L'ancient gare for...

We were on vacation and, based on a recommendation, visited Restaurant Le Bossens. Not only because of the outstanding dishes, but also because of the owner, who is truly one of a kind. ❤️ From the very beginning we were warmly welcomed, and since we unfortunately don’t speak French, the menu was kindly explained to us in English.

We were lucky to enjoy a beautiful late summer evening in mid-September, seated outside under trees decorated with lanterns. For guests who might get chilly, jackets were even provided.

Now to the food: we chose the menu, and it was simply excellent! Attached are a few pictures – they say more than a thousand words.

Better book a table in advance – they fill up fast! And before dinner, take a leisurely stroll through this stunning...

Le Bossens restaurant in Sauve is a hidden gem with a charming old village setting. The picturesque terrace is beautifully illuminated in the evening, creating a magical atmosphere for dining. The menu may be short, but each dish is flavorful and well-crafted. The young chefs in the kitchen bring a fresh and innovative perspective to the dining experience. Don't miss out on this unique and delicious dining experience in a picturesque location.
