Brasserie de l'Hôtel de Ville — Restaurant in Les Andelys

This little bar on the square is open daily for lunch, when the food is standard cafe-type fare. However, on Fridays and Saturdays, it is also open for dinner, when the food is well above average standard. It is advisable to book, but be warned, bars in Les Andelys close early!

We were just looking for something nice, simple and down-to-earth for lunch before heading up to the castle ruins and it was exactly what we got. The waitresses were very friendly; they spoke no english but made every effort to communicate. We had the entrecot steak with escargot. The food was delicious, fairly priced and portions were generous. The seating was a little on the narrower side, but it wasn't that bad. I recommend this...

Very nice place to eat. Busy with locals and we were treated very rudely. Service very slow and felt on purpose due to being English. We love France but his wasn’t a good last meal to finish our holiday. Shame! Kebab shop opposite gave better service...
