L'Eliandre — Restaurant in Lesparre-Médoc

Sat down outside at a table which had food menus on, when we started to order food we were told we had to move to another table (next table but one), didn't question it but thought ok there must be some silly reason for this but alright, I can't really argue in French so thought best of it.. ordered some food, chicken burger is decent enough.

Some time after we finished another couple sat down at the table we originally sat at (but were told to move), guess what; yes they proceeded to order food and were served as normal. Can only assume the waiter that served us had a bee in his beret, or maybe someone pissed on his croissant that morning, either way; if you like slightly peculiar French servers with odd seating rules, bang average food you can sit outside in the boiling hot sun with no parasol over your table, then this is YOUR PLACE!...

Ate/drank here every one of our 4 nights we stayed in Lacanau. We are a family of five. Good food and drink and such a friendly waitress called Nadia with a beautiful smile that made us want to keep coming back. Lacanau is a bit of a desert in terms of good food, company and entertainment but L’Eliandre is definitely an oasis for hungry and thirsty...

Scandaleux ! On commande des steaks hachés pour les enfants, on nous amène du poulet. On attend donc une nouvelle fois que les steaks hachés arrivent pour les recevoir cramés. Des serveuses exécrables nous tenant pour excuse qu’ il y a trop de monde. En guise de tartare j’ai eu droit à de la viande crue avec un demi camembert pas cuit dessus. Aucun accompagnement, aucune sauce, même pas un jaune d’œuf pour lier. Quand on demande une petite cuillère on nous montre avec le doigt où aller la chercher et pour le pain c’est à nous-mêmes egalement d’aller nous servir limite en cuisine. Pour les enfants en guise de glace on nous jeté ce qui restait puisque sur la carte il était marqué une glace Haribo et on ne sait pourquoi on nous a donné un faux magnum à la vanille. Quand on demande à voir un responsable on nous répond qu’il n’y en a pas. Et qu’on peut aller voir ailleurs si on est pas content. À fuir !!! Lamentable ! désastreux ! porte préjudice à la gastronomie française. Même Etchevest ne peux plus...
