Excellent restaurant in Pomerol. They have a three course menu for both lunch and dinner. They also have a monthly three course lunch special menu which was excellent. My friend and I had reserved a table for noon and the restaurant kindly accommodated our request for a later seating, at short notice.

We opted for the March lunch special menu, which only cost €27 excluding drinks. We had a mushroom soup with pork served garnished with croutons and seaweed for starters. The main dish was a white fish served with scallops and grains in a delicious white sauce. The dessert was an unusual rice pudding with caramelised pear and sea salt, caramel sauce.

The restaurant had only been open for two days post winter and did not have English menus available. However, the manager was kind enough to explain the menu to us. Service was quick and efficient and the restaurant was very busy. The decor is a little dated, but the food Outweighs that.

The only challenge was the lack of Internet availability on that day, meaning we had to pay by cash which luckily we did have. Parking is available behind the restaurant and on the road front. Considering it was winter, and the restaurant had just opened again, the the place was full which is a testament to the quality of the food. A...

There wasn’t a table available. We didn’t have a reservation and the place was recommended by a local. I understand they didn’t have a place however, hostess was EXTREMELY rude!! I was carrying my 18 month baby, I asked if we could wait a bit in case one of the reservations didn’t show up and she again in a very rude way told me to leave... I understand the business but being rude is NEVER part of it! And she couldn’t give 2 f...s about us having a child. She then mentioned it was because covid social measurements but restaurant was full and with ZERO distance between tables. I don’t care how good food might be, I’ll never go or recommend a...

My fiancé and I were visiting vineyards in the area and came for lunch. Hostess greeted us in French very nicely and asked if it was for just 2, started walking with us towards a table and when she heard our accents (American) she immediately changed her attitude and told us “no tables, fully booked”. Over half the restaurant was empty. We had a confused look and she just kept saying “no no fully booked.” We were dressed appropriately so there was no excuse other than her just not wanting to host Americans. It’s sad that literally 5 minutes prior I was telling my fiancé how in love I was with the city and how everyone’s so nice and we...

Hands down the best food within a large radius. We had the summer menu ceviche which was literally the best ceviche we have ever had having travelled the world; the veal which was also perfectly prepared and outstandingly executed; the special fish on this day was also outstanding. It is sad that tourist visit aggressively mediocre restaurants in St Emilion in the age of free flowing information.

6 of us for Saturday lunch to celebrate my dad's birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was absolutely perfect. We had some fantastic chablis which was very well priced like much of the wine list. The food was beautifully presented, fresh and clean flavours and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
